If you are an online store product manager, founder, or designer you probably asked yourself these questions:
• who are your customers exactly?
• why are they shopping in our online store?
• what problem does your product solves
• what else can you offer to your customer
• when do they have the problem that your product solves?
• What keeps them from not buying
• is your product offer aligned with your marketing
• is your online store UX aligned with your customers
The thing is, those are basic questions but they are very hard to know without a customer-oriented approach and extensive research.
You and your team keep releasing new products, designs, and strategies without even knowing the basic questions about your customer.
Your online store will mainly be directed with subjective guesswork and the most influential person will direct the course.
You need real data to approve or disapprove your and your boss guesses. Until you focus on your customer’s real needs and back your assumptions with real research your store will run on luck in today’s ever-increasing eCommerce competitive space.
We can help you with giving you and your team independent data and make extensive research to create an actionable persona that will drive your every business, marketing and UX decision.
A persona is meant to help founders, product owners, designers, and developers see their customers for who they are while eliminating biases.
Product owners will know how to adapt their product more towards the target audience and make sure they take the risk out of the equation.
Founders will know how to present their projects easier to their investors and get them aligned with companie’s vision and future projects.
Investors who want to understand better who does your company serve and what problem it solves will have an easier way of understanding, possibly leading to more trust and higher fundings.
Product teams who want to benchmark their desired audience to see how they stack up against competitors and identify where to prioritize resources for future improvements.
The persona report will be about 20 - 30 pages. Don’t worry, it is not a giant text document. We made a visual representation of data so it is easy to understand, and covers the following areas of your target audience:
• A day in life
• Social media
You will also get a one-hour video conference (or in-person if you are in NYC) where we go over the audit findings so we can start a conversation with your team that lasts long after our engagement ends.
The pricing starts at $5,500 and depends on the complexity and number of platforms (e.g. desktop, mobile, tablet).
The majority of the teams create persona within a day or two, but that persona ends up being quite superficial and it has little to no use for the team. We conduct in-depth research. For our in-depth persona creation takes about two to three weeks.
It might seem like a lot of time in comparison, but using the wrong persona can cost you about six months, or more, worth of work and eventually can lead your eCommerce to financial problems.
Now, as every first-time client, you might be wondering the following:
• this will not fit into our product schedule
• the service product that I will receive will not be actionable
• we are not sure when we will receive the service product
• not sure about the quality
• how will the communication be
Rest assured that we understand you and that the product will be ready on agreed time, actionable, full quality and bespoke communication.
We have 11 years of working experience with various sized companies through different stages.
Our skillset was developed with you in mind. Our communication and deliverables are designed and presented so you can start implementing it immediately. There is no need to overburden your team with massive data documents.
We also provide free educational resources for our audience. That way we make sure we give back to the community. Through community, we also get direct feedback from people within the industry what ongoing problems are occurring.
