BoxCircles is a web app designed to help users leverage their existing social and business networks to find the right freelancers and service providers
Goal
The BoxCircles landing page was designed to communicate the platform’s unique value: helping users leverage their existing social and business networks to find trusted freelancers and service providers. Targeted initially at the technology sector, the goal of the landing page was to explain the platform clearly, inspire trust, and drive sign-ups.
Challenges
Designing the landing page required addressing several challenges:
Communicating Complexity: The product involved advanced features like Circles of Friends, Recommendations, and Profile Editing. The landing page needed to explain these without overwhelming users.
Premium Yet Approachable Design: The branding needed to feel professional and trustworthy while staying clean and accessible.
Conversion-Oriented Flow: The landing page had to balance storytelling with a clear path to onboarding.
Solution
The landing page was designed with a clean, minimalist style that placed emphasis on clarity and trust:
Hero Section: Crisp tagline, strong value proposition, and clear call-to-action.
How It Works: Visual step-by-step breakdown of circles, recommendations, and profiles.
Social Proof: Highlighted trusted connections and network-based credibility.
User-Centered Layout: Every section guided the visitor smoothly toward understanding and joining the platform.
Design Approach
Information Architecture: Structured to flow from high-level value → feature explanation → call-to-action.
Visual Design: Minimalist palette with subtle accent colors to create a modern, tech-forward aesthetic.
Interaction Design: Smooth scrolling and micro-animations to reinforce ease of use.
